[TBC]. Get it reviewed by a qualified Irish solicitor and confirm every placeholder before this platform goes live or processes real payments. Note also that DGB Energy Consultants is a registered business name (sole trader), not a limited company — the "liability" and "company" language in these drafts should be checked against that structure specifically, since a sole trader carries personal liability differently than a limited company would.Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026 (draft)
This is a short policy because BER Direct currently uses very few cookies — it's kept in sync with what the platform actually does, not a generic template.
1. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
BER Direct uses session cookies set by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) to keep you signed in and to know which account is making a request. These are essential for the Platform to work — you can't book an assessment, submit a quote, or see your dashboard without them — so they're set automatically and don't require consent under Irish/EU cookie rules (they fall under the "strictly necessary" exemption).
2. Analytics, advertising, and tracking cookies
BER Direct does not currently use any analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes in the future — for example, adding product analytics — we'll update this page and ask for your consent first via a cookie banner, as required by the ePrivacy rules.
3. Third-party cookies
When you're redirected to Stripe to pay, Stripe's own checkout page may set cookies under Stripe's domain, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy — BER Direct doesn't control these.
4. Managing cookies
Since the only cookies BER Direct sets today are the strictly necessary session cookies, blocking them in your browser will simply prevent you from staying signed in. Most browsers let you view and clear cookies in their privacy/security settings if you want to check what's stored.
5. Questions
